Refund Policy
Please read this carefully. By using shihanskinpro.com, booking a service, or purchasing a product, you agree to be bound by the terms below.

This Refund & Return Policy applies to purchases made from shihanskinpro.com. We want you to be confident in what you order — please read this policy before completing your purchase.
This policy has two parts:
- Products (skincare, aftercare, and retail items shipped from our Avon, CT studio)
- Services (in-clinic appointments booked through Vagaro)
Part 1 — Products
Return window
You may request a return within 30 days of the delivery date.
What we accept
- Unopened skincare with seals intact: Returnable. Refund to original payment method, less original shipping.
- Opened skincare, cosmetics, or aftercare: Not returnable. For health, hygiene, and safety reasons we cannot accept opened personal-care items.
- Damaged or defective on arrival: Full refund or replacement at your choice — see below.
- Wrong item shipped: Full refund or replacement at our cost. We pay return shipping.
- Gift cards: Not returnable. All gift card sales are final, except as required by Connecticut law (see Gift cards section below).
- Final-sale / clearance items: Not returnable. Marked clearly on the product page.
We do not charge a restocking fee on approved returns.
How to request a return
- Email shihanfarzinzad@gmail.com within the return window with your order number and reason for return.
- We'll reply with a return authorization and shipping instructions.
- Pack the item securely in its original packaging if possible.
- Ship to the address provided. You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item was damaged, defective, or shipped in error.
- Once we receive and inspect the item (typically within 3 business days), we'll process your refund.
Refund timing
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days of inspection. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take an additional 3–5 business days for the credit to appear on your statement.
Damaged or defective items
- Take photos of the damage and packaging within 48 hours of delivery.
- Email photos to shihanfarzinzad@gmail.com with your order number.
- We'll either refund the item in full or ship a replacement — your choice. We cover all shipping costs in this scenario.
Adverse or allergic reactions to products
If you experience an adverse reaction to a skincare or aftercare product, stop use immediately, consult a medical professional if needed, and contact us within 14 days of first use at shihanfarzinzad@gmail.com. We will work with you in good faith on a case-by-case basis — in most cases we will accept the unused remainder for a partial refund. Please be ready to share product batch information if available.
Lost packages
If tracking shows your package as delivered but you did not receive it, see the Shipping Policy for the carrier-claim process.
Cancellations and exchanges
You may cancel an order before it ships by emailing us as soon as possible. Once an order has shipped, the return process above applies.
We do not process direct exchanges. To swap an item, return the original for a refund (per the table above) and place a new order for the replacement.
Gift cards
Gift cards sold by Shihan Beauty Clinic are non-refundable. In compliance with Connecticut General Statutes § 42-460, our gift cards do not expire, and any remaining balance under $5 may be redeemed in cash upon request. Gift cards cannot be replaced if lost or stolen.
Discounted and promotional purchases
Items purchased at a discount or with a promotional code are returnable per the table above unless explicitly marked final sale. Refunds for discounted items are issued at the actual price paid.
Part 2 — Services (in-clinic appointments)
Services are booked and paid through our scheduling partner Vagaro. The terms below apply in addition to any cancellation policy Vagaro displays at checkout.
Booking deposits
Some services require a deposit at the time of booking. Deposits are applied toward the total cost of your appointment. Deposits are non-refundable if you cancel within the no-show window described below or fail to attend.
Cancellation window
To avoid a cancellation fee, please cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before your appointment. You can cancel through Vagaro or by calling (860) 678-0200.
Late cancellations and no-shows
- Cancellations inside the 24-hour window may forfeit the deposit or be charged up to 50% of the service price.
- No-shows (failure to attend without cancelling) may be charged up to 100% of the service price.
Late arrivals
If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, we may need to shorten your service or reschedule. In either case the original deposit may be applied to the rescheduled visit, but a second no-show or late cancellation forfeits the deposit entirely.
Service satisfaction and permanent makeup
Permanent makeup (microblading, ombré powder brows, lip blush, eyeliner) outcomes vary by skin type, lifestyle, medications, and aftercare adherence, and have been disclosed and acknowledged in your intake consent form.
If you are unsatisfied with your result, please reach out within 7 days of your appointment so we can discuss it. We do not offer refunds for completed services, but we are committed to working with you on follow-up corrections where reasonable.
HydraFacial, microneedling, threading, and lash/brow services
These are single-session services. Refunds for completed services are not offered. If you experienced a service-quality issue, please contact us within 48 hours so we can address it directly.
Medical contraindication
If, during your consultation, we determine that a service is not safe to perform on you (pregnancy, certain medications, recent procedures, active skin conditions, etc.), any deposit you paid for that service will be refunded in full.
Part 3 — Connecticut customer notice
This policy is provided in compliance with Connecticut General Statutes § 42-188, which requires retailers to conspicuously disclose return policies. Where this policy is silent, Connecticut law applies.
